Hi, I think Debian biggest advantage is the intelligent package handling. PPP is very good pre-configured. I use it here without any problems. Normaly you have to edit two files (/etc/ppp.chatscript and /etc/ppp.options_out) and perhaps /etc/ppp/pap-secrets (if your provider uses the PAP authentification method) - and you should get a connection. In /usr/doc/ppp you will find more information. -CU -- Karlheinz Nolte mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.t-online.de/home/Karlheinz.Nolte -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
