Cool.  For some reason, I screwed up my last compile of f77reorder, so 
I'll check out your .deb's.

Another good question.   I care.  But, we've been fairly happy of late 
with g77--presently using 0.5.19.1 which is the most "stable" version.  
It's getting better all the time.
