I installed Debian 1.3. Now, I am having problems logging in as a normal user. When logging in root, I got a message about "delay bypassed, root allowed to log in". Also, when I shutdown, I got a prompt about logging in for maintenance mode, or control-d to shutdown. Pressing control-d does not do anything.
