I had a somewhat similar problem with an internal modem. Apparently the on-board micro can crash. Try using minicom to send 'ATZ'. If this doesn't work, hard reset is the only way out. I considered soldering a reset switch into the modem, but I bought a new one instead. -- John Hasler [EMAIL PROTECTED] (John Hasler) Dancing Horse Hill Elmwood, WI -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
