I want to back up my choices in deselect on a floppy, so I can later do a clean install of the whole system, and install all the same packages without having to go through the selection process again.
What's the right way to do this? Do I just need the `status' file? It contains my selections, but also information about what is currently installed. Will things get messed up if I use this file in a future installation, when those packages are not in fact installed yet? Thanks. -David =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= David S.
