We need more info.
Send us the lines mentioning your NIC on bootup. They are in
/var/log/messages or you can use "dmesg".
Also you can check your routing setup with "/sbin/route" and
"/sbin/ifconfig". Give us these lines as well.
The setup of these values are done in /etc/init.d/network
Also did you try to reach a host using a IP address or using a "DNA name"?
There could be a issue with your /etc/resolv.conf
Maybe with this info you can solve the problem for yourself, else refer
back to use with the output of the commands.
Something else: I thought there is no support for the 100 Mbit 3com NICs in
2.0.x kernels prior to 2.0.32. Maybe the debian package of the kernel has
the patch built in?
