I ran out of IDE controllers on my machine so I decided tosteal the SB from my fiance's computer to hopefully be able to use the IDE comtroller on it so I can actually use my CDROM drive. Anyway, I can't seem to get the computer to noticethe C Drive is there, and I'm not even sure if it knows the sound card is there... since I don't have a pnp OS installed, I don't know what I actually need to do to get the system to notice the additions... any help? I'm not sure if this is a linux/debian issue, but it will be when I get it working ;) Thanks, Chris '\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\ Live on Real Audio Thursday nights 8-11 EST http://www.uvm.edu/~wruv T-SNAKE [EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ UIN:1868354 A DJ on a mission CROSSFADE RECORDS http://www.crossfade.com/ Drug free techno ,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/'\,/
