I didn't see any mention of downloading the latest "hamm" version of libc5 _BEFORE_ you run the script. All that was mentioned was doing a clean install of 1.3.1 and then running the script.
I haven't done this yet but have been reading up on it and following the
discussion on the devel list.....could this be the problem?
