Is there a way to do a clean shutdown without becoming root? Ctrl+Alt+Del works. If you want to restrict normal users from doing CAD, then put the allowed users in /etc/shutdown.allow.
Of course, over the network, this doesn't work. You could use the sudo or super packages, though. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
