It works fine for me. All three buttons work in X Windows. If you are using the PS/2 mouse port, make sure you have PS/2 mouse support enabled in your kernel or installed as a module. The module for this psaux. From what I recall, Debian has this setup by default. I can't help you with the other hardware.
