I am trying to get cvs to help me download the Gnome source tree via the anonymous cvs service they offer. I was doing this under 1.3 and it worked fine, but now I get a Seg Fault when executing 'cvs login.' Example: whitehouse$ export CVSROOT=':pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/gnome' whitehouse$ cvs login (Logging in to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) CVS password: **reurn here for no password** Segmentation fault Here is the stack trace from gdb: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x4008d0bc in strcmp () (gdb) bt #0 0x4008d0bc in strcmp () #1 0x8067479 in _start () #2 0x806a02d in _start () (gdb) Any ideas out there?
