When I connect to certain hosts via telnet (similar via ftp), I'll get a messgae like this:
Connected to site.whatever.edu Escape character is '^]'. which is as usual then followed by: Connection closed by foreign host. Assume for the moment that it is not an ISP problem, is there anything specific to my machine that is causing this? I'd love some hints. TIA, Richard
