Yes, but when I checked that I saw the problem. Baud was set to 57600, but I was using 38400 in the pppd command. As long as they match, it works. That was a lot of effort to find a simple solution to an inconsequential problem. I thank you. David Densmore <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
