If so, you simply need to install the dhcpcd package. Then Linux will obtain an IP address automatically, as easily as in Win95. What you'll probably want to do (I'm assuming you're not installing from CD-ROM) is install the base system, then download the dhcpcd package with Win95, mount the windows partition from within Linux, copy over the dhcpcd package, and install it. Then you'll be able to complete the Debian installation over the network. Of course, if you're installing from CD, then this won't matter.
