Hello, I tried installing Debian 2.0 from the 1998-07-21 dated rescue and drivers disks. I used an IBM PS/2 model 80, 8580-111. Things work OK, except there are no drivers for the Ethernet card. It is Micro Channel version, 3COM Etherlink/MC. The PS/2 is not much use if I can not get it networked.
How should I proceed to get the Ethernet working? I would prefer to have it already during the initial installation, so I can install using FTP and NFS. Answer directly to me by email, or to this mailing list. -- Tapio Lehtonen [EMAIL PROTECTED]
