I am passing the -v option to chat, and indeed, I am also
using W2S95=47 (I have a rockwell chip modem). plog does not have
that, but /var/log/ppp.log does indeed have the strings from chat.
What I need to do is set up the following REPORT lines in the
chat script:
/usr/sbin/chat $DEBUG -r/var/log/dspeed \
TIMEOUT 55 \
REPORT CONNECT \
REPORT CARRIER \
REPORT PROTOCOL \
REPORT COMPRESSION \
ABORT "NO CARRIER" \
