Hi,

My friend's laptop has 96M of RAM installed. When it boots, it has a
message saying that 96M is installed and BIOS setup shows the same thing,
but when I run "free" under Debian it comes up with:

# free
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 63384 61728 1656 25776 30420 16084
-/+ buffers/cache: 15224 48160
Swap: 64508 344 64164

Why does it only think there is 64M?

Thanks,

Mark.
