Hello, configuring keyboard settings on linux is driving me insane. But someone of you can help me with this trivial requirements. I want an identical setup for console, X and Xemacs: [Backspace] deletes to left, [delete] deletes to right, [left-control] should be control and finally [left-alt] should be Meta. My Keyboard has a german layout.
Please help, since I can't figure out what to do. Marcus
