When I try to mount my cd-rom it keeps saying "irq > timeout: status=0x50." My NIC is a PCI plug-and-pray card. Does Debian > support PNP? > > Jeff Yes it does. You have to recompile the kernel to support your NIC and CDROM. You need the kernel-source, modules, kernel-headers and make-kpkg installed. Rather the go through the list of _how_ to do it, why don't you take a look at the mailing list archives. It has been repeated over and over there. If/when you have a problem, then request help from the list. -- COBOL programs are an exercise in Artificial Inelegance. _______________________________________________________ Wayne T.
