After re-installing X11, (with all new fonts) -- 'frozen' distro, I still get the same error:
"could not open default font 'fixed'"
but:
locate fixed gives "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/fixed.pcf.gz."
"/etc/X11/XF86Config" shows this path as well, so I know I have the font.
What should I do?
