I am looking into the possibility of using a server as a packet shaper with Debian. Is this viable?
I have researched other commercial packet shapers, and, for the most part, are way out of the possible budget. Plus, if I can do the same thing with a server and Debian, I would look like a hero when the budget came in way under projects amounts :) I am probably looking at a 1000 client network.
