I have been playing around trying to use slink-cd to make
some CD images. I wanted to use anonymous NFS to get at the files.
I have tried several anonymous NFS sites that I have read about
through this list (ftp.kernel.org, llug.sep.bnl.gov, and
pfaffben.user.msu.edu) and I keep getting errors. When I try
to mount I get:

# mount -t nfs llug.sep.bnl.gov:/home/pub/debian /mnt
mount: RPC: Port mapper failure - RPC: Unable to receive

So to me it looks like I have something setup wrong on my
side - what is it? I tried looking at man pages for
portmap, rpc* , and tcp_wrappers - but I have had no
luck. NFS works fine for me locally - my home directory is
NFS mounted, etc. Also, the hosts.allow and hosts.deny
files are the default files ( hosts.allow is empty and
hosts.deny has ALL: PARANOID).

Thanks.
