Then I can just run 'debian/rules binary' in the source directory and get a customized Debian package. I usually make a note in the control file that this is a local build and should not necessarily be upgraded when a new version of the Debian package comes along. This works well, for example, when I want to custom compile a dynamically linked Motif application against OSF/Motif (which I have on my system) instead of Lesstif (which all dynically linked Motif apps are built against in Debian). noah PGP public key available at http://lynx.dac.neu.edu/home/httpd/n/nmeyerha/mail.html or by 'finger -l [EMAIL PROTECTED]' This message was composed in a 100% Microsoft free environment. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBNu2+oIdCcpBjGWoFAQEVTwQAipOieN5uF8DzNOMcmW62ePSzyiks2vVS wrSVhJiSZ2chvaT0E09JkADX8pezn7cKEgDWNxXGPB2rKm0g7DMerlxdlajdvhxx sDBmEkeBz4dsm2VWQDRiYesRUkED2IK+iROe8+jsiV5xRac5qP7eujrOvgQoHW6c ZPRSK85ceFE= =oCtu -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
