Is the library really there, or is there just a dangling symbolic link? On my slink system /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4 is a symlink to libXpm.so.4.10. If the latter file is not there, you need to install the xpm4g package if the Wingz3 is a libc6 program. If Wingz3 is a libc5 program, you need to install the xpm4.7 package from the oldlibs section.
