Why do you need it compiled in perse? The Debian Apache has most modules as DSO's (runtime loadable modules), including the proxy module. Just uncomment the LoadModule line in httpd.conf for mod_proxy, reload Apache et viola Mike. -- Indifference will certainly be the downfall of mankind, but who cares?
