Thanks for the info.  I just re-installed Linux and found that the
second disk wasn't needed for the dial-up profile that I selected.  Of
course if I had read the documentation more carefully I would have
realized that you need to switch disks and then re-execute the "install"
step of dselect.  So it all worked as it should.

I picked Debian over the other distributions because the non-commercial
aspect appealed to me.  But I realize that it's the Debian community of
users that make it the best choice!  Without the support of other users
the installation process would have been so frustrating!
