I was trying to compile a 2.4.18 kernel source that comes with the cds of DEBIAN .. so, I wasn't get to compile it without SMP support (since this can't be enabled to insert some modules, like ptserial.o to makes my HSPPCtel modem works..).
So, last night I got the 2.4.18 kernel source from debian.org/packages, and I got compile it normally. So the problem was the version of the 2.4.18 kernel source. I take a week trying to discover this problem .. Thanks very much to all that spend some time help me.
