Okay, okay... I know all the warnings about unstable should have been heeded, but all I want to do now is salvage my box. How do I: A) salvage the dpkg database, I get errors about fsync and B) if that cant be done... downgrade to slink. Im not sure if B) can be done, 'cause as it stands.. I cant install any packages... through apt, or dselect! Somebody please tell me that I'm not hosed...
