Hon hon, since the beginning of 2.2.x kernels, the new syntaxis is: route add -net 127.0.0.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255 (IF you're in the 192.168.x.x slice, of course ;-> ) But you can notice that, even if it says 'SIOCADDRT......' the setting is good; so this new setting only removes the error msg.
