OK I've tried pump, dhcp-client, dhcp3-client, and udhcpc and can't seem to get any of them to request a hostname from my dhcp server either on bootup or calling them from the command line. I could use some pointers from someone who's successfully done this.
Some quick stats ---------------- pump is installed right now eht0 only device can get ip and name-servers successfully can connect to other machines on network not sure but dhcp server may be win2k (if it matters) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
