If you want that to work properly, you'll also want to: $ ln -s /etc/init.d/xdm /etc/rc2.d/K20xdm #potato number so that changing back from runlevel 3 to runlevel 2 will kill xdm. -- +----------------------------------------------------+ | Eric G.
