Which probably corresponds to the problem with apt-get reported a while ago. Was it your case? Let me include a copy of the report below ***** Copy**** I did apt-get update , apt-get dist-upgrade, after this the Xserver was not working. Complained about fonts not installed, couldn't find them etc. By pure chance I did apt-get install after a while and it fixed the problem. The fonts had not been installed. Wasn't apt-get supposed to handle the installation fully after doing apt-get dist-upgrade? ************End Copy**********
