rdate fails Y2K

I get exactly the same error from time.nist.gov, but:

  debian# rdate ntp2.usno.navy.mil
  Sat Jan  1 10:45:27 2000

works exactly as before.

Looks like it's a problem specific to the server time.nist.gov.
