OK, I did chgrp cdrom /dev/hdc, and then adduser david cdrom. But now I can't play CDs. When I start xfreecd, I get: CDROM device: Permission denied. Do I need to change the group on the /dev/cdrom as well? -- David J. Kanter [EMAIL PROTECTED]
