There sure is. On the first machine, run 'dpkg --get-selections > file'. Then transfer the file to the other machine and do 'dpkg --set-selections file'. When you run dselect and select [I]nstall from the menu, all the selected packages will be installed. I suspect that you can use something like 'apt-get dist-upgrade' or something and avoid dselect, but I'm not sure. noah PGP Public Key available at http://www.morgul.net/~frodo/mail.html or by `finger -l [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3a Charset: noconv iQCVAwUBOJ3RTodCcpBjGWoFAQG20wP+MYZZXNGpFg8j2PKklsRSU9Y42RHKGpq6 AHjATztAdSe41UskOOLeKyFEs5JNY1eSXgEjRWJN8fa38cbIaVv0pL9rvbtb1RRq UVMRL/yyj9p55zqjseioBP2zvvrI4Kw6hHpDLu6bNC+lG8+Ich7OEyyWchgONpx2 wMwiUR4jDxA= =govA -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
