It did not work with KDM > however, and I deleted KDM in frustration. :) i think, that the kdm behaviour is better. if your x-server hangs and you have to kill it with atl-ctrl-backspace, then it is nice to have a possibility to re-login right afterwards without having to restart xdm or so.
