I am attempting to install Debian on my machine, only during the normal boot, it hangs up. The last line is "NCR53c406: no available ports found" I am not new to Linux, but am to Debian, and I have several friends who run Debian, and they are stumped. My machine is an AMD Athlon 600 with 128 RAM, ASUS K7M mboard, 20 GB IBM HDD. Any help or insight would be appreciated :-) Thanks a lot!
