I tested this here and I found, that you do not need any config.h at all. So you can remove or uncomment every line with "# include config.h" in it, e.g with this perl oneliner: $ perl -pi.bak -e 's+#include <config.h>+// #include <config.h>+' *.h *.cxx There is another error in the Makefile. It looks for libfltk in the directory "../lib" and it does not find it. Just replace every "../lib" in the Makefile with "/usr/lib". After this repairs, just typing "make" did indeed work. bye -- __ __ Frank Barknecht ____ ______ ____ __ trip\ \ / /wire ______ / __// __ /__/ __// // __ \ \/ / __ \\ ___\ / / / ____/ / / / // ____// /\ \\ ___\\____ \ /_/ /_____/ /_/ /_//_____// / \ \\_____\\_____\ /_/ \_\
