See Ethernet-HOWTO if you have problems with your card. When you have got your ethernet card ok, then take a look at this: http://www.oswg.org/oswg-nightly/DHCP.html You need to get dhcpcd client software working. If you don't already have it, download the debian package. (You need it because you want to get that dynamic ip from server). When you have the software, working ethernet card and the document, rest is very simple. First read the document. Make sure your ethernet card is working, then install the software and reboot.
