Many pager software supports gzip-ed file. less, jless, lv, ... (But 'more' command doesn't support it) If you want to view bzip2-ed files also, I recommend to use lv. lv handles many character encoding also (include UTF-8/UTF-16). -- Kenshi Muto [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.debian.org/~kmuto/
