Install the packages jdk1.1 and jdk1.1-dev to get Sun's JDK 1.1. There are also some free solutions packaged in Debian: jikes is a pretty nice Java compiler, and kaffe is a VM. There are others too, try "apt-get search Java". -- -=- Rjs -=- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
