this is the first time i've looked at my /etc/network/interfaces file and everything is commented out. currently i configure my network interfaces from /etc/init.d/network. if i set my network from /etc/network/interfaces does this mean that i can remove /etc/init.d/network? what is the preferred way of configuring the network?
