I'm using icewm-gnome as a window manager and have my .procmailrc
moving mail from /var/spool/mail/'user' to ~/mail/2000/08 in which
there are 3 subdirectories cur, new, and tmp. Great setup, credit goes
to Chris Gushue for his muttrc configuration which sorts mail on a
monthly basis.

But, how do I get icewm to indicate the amount of mail in the inbox? I've
tried using iceprefs and navigating to the mail directory, but that
doesn't work. Here's whats in the cur directory:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/mail/2000/08/Inbox/cur$ ls
967269739.12745.yossarian:2,FS 967354953.27798.yossarian:2,S
967300123.14713.yossarian:2,FRS 967355817.27842.yossarian:2,S
967348642.25071.yossarian:2,FRS 967376387.28230.yossarian:2,S
967350005.25558.yossarian:2,S

After navigating to the above directory in the paths/mailcheck
settings in iceprefs, the taskbar mail icon indicates an empty
mailbox. Any suggestions?

thankyou
