I use this NIC in my boxes, and I _think_ your tulip driver is detecting the wrong card. What kernel are you using? Mine worked with the kernel's tulip.c driver as far back as 2.2.1, and it works in 2.2.17 and 2.4 test 7. Here is the message on init with 2.2.17 pre6:
tulip.c:v0.91g-ppc 7/16/99 [EMAIL PROTECTED] eth1: Lite-On PNIC-II rev 37 at 0xff00, 00:A0:CC:E1:C6:CA, IRQ 10. I have mine compiled statically and I'm using the version 2 card with WOL feature. They go up to version 4, if I remember correctly. The "custom" tulip driver included on the second driver disk worked for me also. Maybe try compiling the Linksys tulip.c on disk2 as a module, and see if that one works, or just use the kernel's version? Maybe if you have a v4 card it doesn't like it? HTH Andrew W.
