I used the following line in my apt sources.list

deb http://kde.tdyc.com potato kde2

Then I did an apt-get install on all the task-kde-* packages (if you go
a grep ^Package: task-kde on the packages file you'll see what they all
are). I didn't need to install anything from unstable.

I'm a helix-gnome user at heart, but I'd heard a lot about the new kde
so I thought I'd try it out. It looks cool, but is not the most stable
thing in the world. While I don't think anything crashed while I was
using it, konquerer always produced a segfault dialog box on exit.

All flames aside, on debian potato, helix gnome seems to be a lot more
stable at the moment.

cheers,

damon
