What does "cdrecord -scanbus" say? You should see something like:
Cdrecord 1.9 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jörg Schilling Linux sg driver version: 2.1.39 Using libscg version 'schily-0.1' scsibus0: 0,0,0 0) 'HP ' 'CD-Writer+ 8200 ' '1.0f' Removable CD-ROM 0,1,0 1) * 0,2,0 2) * 0,3,0 3) * 0,4,0 4) * 0,5,0 5) * 0,6,0 6) * 0,7,0 7) * You have to give cdrecord a "dev=x,y,z" argument using the numbers returned by "cdrecord -scanbus" (dev=0,0,0) in my example above. See: man cdrecord also the CD-Writing-HOWTO. Bob On Sun, Oct 29, 2000 at 06:40:04AM +0800, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I read somewhere about somebody's problems with xcdroast.
