Can anyone explain to me whay changing:

In my /etc/X11/XF86Config file causes me to not be able to get the
monitor to
synch to the 800x600 res? If I ise the first form and use ]CTRL\+ to
shift to
the higher res, all is well. If I use the second form, the monitor will
not
synch to the 800x600, even if I switch thruough all 3 resolutinons.
