        In fact cc1 is one of the program called by gcc. Actually, gcc
        call the following programs :

        * cpp : c preprocessor
        * cc1 : true compilator
        * as  : assembler
        * ld  : linker

        So cc1 is part of the gcc package :

$ dlocate cc1
gcc: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-linux/2.95.2/cc1
g++: /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-linux/2.95.2/cc1plus

        There should be a problem with your installation of gcc like
        the gcc output is indicating.

Bye
