What I do is ``chmod -x'' on the unwanted file in /etc/init.d/. This prevents them from being loaded. Essentially the same thing as you do, but I think that this way the script is going to be deleted if the package it belongs to is removed. -- Arcady Genkin Don't read everything you believe.
