Maybe you are right. I was confused by the versions: ftp://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/potato/main/disks-i386/2.2.20.0.1-2000-12-03/ and ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.2/
Maybe the first one is debian's version.
